The work. The training. The why.
I became a therapist because I believe that who you are cannot be separated from where you come from — your culture, your family, the social worlds you move through, and the identities you carry. Symptoms are rarely the whole story. They're often the surface expression of something much older: expectations inherited before you had a choice, grief that never had a name, and parts of yourself that were never given space to exist. That intersection of culture, identity, and healing is where my work lives.
My approach is relational and flexible. I draw on psychodynamic depth, family systems work, CBT, and DBT — adapting to what each person actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
